Canadian writer Paul William Roberts has admitted passages in his 2004 best-selling book A War Against Truth: An Intimate Account of the Invasion of Iraq are similar to those that appeared in an Atlanta Journal-Constitution article, reports CBC.CA. The author issued an apology to the newspaper’s lawyer, calling his actions “an egregious lapse of professional conduct.” A Globe & Mail article compares the passages side-by-side.
