An Associated Press reporter who was one of 114 people to die in a plane crash in Cameroon on the weekend is remembered in a colleague’s story as a dogged correspondent with a passion for Africa. Anthony Mitchell, 39, originally from England, was based in Nairobi and was returning there after a week’s assignment in the Central African Republic.
