The Atlantic Journalism Awards (AJAs) is now inviting journalists in the region to enter their journalistic stories and images in the 2009 AJAs competition.
Entries must be postmarked by Friday, Jan. 28, 2010.
New categories have been added for this year’s awards, including Online News Reporting, Business Reporting, Best Page Presentation (newspaper), and Community Reporting.
Nominations are also being accepted for the AJAs first Lifetime Achievement Award.
Finalists will be announced in early April 2010 and a gala dinner and awards ceremony will be held on May 8, 2010 in Halifax.
