Three new awards have been launched to honour Atlantic Canada-based magazines. The Atlantic Journalism Awards has added three new categories beginning in 2009.

The three new awards are best magazine article, best magazine profile article and best magazine cover.

All entries must be submitted by Jan. 29. The awards ceremony and gala will be held in Halifax on May 8.
