Winners of the 2011 Western Magazine Awards were announced Friday in Vancouver. Swerve magazine was the biggest winner of the night, taking home Western Canada magazine of the year, as well as magazine of the year for NWT/Alberta, a gold award for best article, five written awards and one visual award.
