The Circulation Management Association of Canada announced its ACE winners today.
The magazine marketing of the year award went to Abacus Circulation‘s Jon Spencer, who was on vacation overseas but made a presentation via Skype.
LouLou won in the consumer paid subscription category. The magazine recently helped fulfill its goal of building paid subscription by partnering with Fruits and Passion to launch a fragrance collection. The result, according to the CMC, was more than 4,000 subscriptions — with no refund requests.
Garden Making magazine took the title in the consumer newsstand promotion category, selling 5,852 copies of the summer issue on the newsstand.
Other winners included More magazine (consumer offline promotion); Transcontinental Publishing (CMC Environmental Award); and Amanda Beatti of Quarto Communications (The Caren King Award).
