The Atlantic Journalism Awards were handed out at a gala in Moncton on May 2.
The 2008 ceremony marked the 28th year for the AJAs. The Jim MacNeill New Journalist Award went to Zach Goudie for his work at CBC Television in St. John’s.
Other winners include the Halifax Chronicle-Herald, the Canadian Press, Saltscapes magazine, The Telegram, the Telegraph-Journal and various CBC radio and television outlets.
