Canadian journalist Arthur Kent, known as the “Scud Stud” for his live reporting during the 1992 Gulf War, is throwing his hat into
Alberta politics. Kent, 54, left NBC after the war in a contract dispute and has since worked as an independent producer for the History Channel, CBC and A&E. He plans to run for the proviincial conservative party for a seat in Calgary.
