Three New York Times journalists, including Nairobi bureau chief Jeffrey Gettleman, have been freed after five days of detention in Ethiopia, the Times reports. The three, who were in Ethiopia on journalists’ visas, were reporting from the Ogaden region when they were detained by soldiers. They say they were never told why they were being held.
