Author, fetish model and video blogger Violet Blue say controversial reporter Amanda Congdon “isn’t a journalist” at all, but simply “portrays one on ABC’s vlog,” in a column for the San Francisco Chronicle. Congdon, also known as “the rack” by many in the blogosphere, came under fire after her participation in a series of online infomercials. Congdon says as a vlogger she is “not subject to the ‘rules’ traditional journalists have to follow,” but Blue thinks Congdon is “smoking crack” if she thinks vlogging is a “free-for-all.”
