In an effort to protect the ecosystems at Lake Tahoe, Nevada, the Graduate Program in Interactive Environmental Journalism at the Reynolds School of Journalism has created an innovative website to assist citizens, policymakers, scientists and anyone interested in protecting the environment within the community. It is an excellent example of public journalism using the web and it has received recognition from the J-Lab Knight-Batten Awards for Innovation.
