Rick Boychunk, editor-in-chief of Canadian Geographic, has resigned, magazine industry website MastheadOnline reports.

Boychuk has held the top editorial job at the mag for more than 13 years but said he’d been feeling “restless for a little while” and decided to move on. His last day is set to be Jan. 30.

The longtime editor said he is looking at other opportunities and that none of them are in journalis. He said he’d love to stay in magazines, but “doesn’t see a whole lot of opportunities these days.”
