The mayor of Canada’s largest city not only got his own opinion piece in The Globe and Mail today, but Rob Ford also confirmed that he and his brother, councilor Doug Ford, are getting their own radio show.

The Ford brothers will be taking over the show currently hosted by Josh Matlow, city councilor for St. Paul’s. According to the Newstalk1010 website, “The City talks about what's happening around the city and explores the week's top city hall stories, and what's coming up in the near future. It's not about what's left or right wing, its [sic] about Toronto.”

According to Steve Kupferman on Torontoist, Doug Ford has been an occasional caller on Matlow’s show and Rob Ford was once a regular on John Oakley’s show on AM640, but has been considerably more reserved since becoming mayor.

The Ford brothers' first show will be this Sunday.
